My Senior Capstone- EcoBuddies
About The Project
EcoBuddies is the final product of my Senior Capstone Experience that is required to graduate from the Luskin School of Public Affairs.
This page showcases the final project poster that I will present at the Luskin Senior Capstone Showcase and the actual project summary that details the program's logistics, rationale, reflections, future suggestions, and deliverables.

While this project was a major requirement, it also reflects my overall experience at UCLA and my time in the Honor's College Scholars program. This project combines my love for the environment, education, and community, digging deep into the interdisciplinary approaches to learning, being, and doing that I have gained through my time in the College Scholars program and through my honors classes. The College Scholars program has taught me to relentlessly pursue what brings me joy and 'lights my fire' to make meaningful change with resilience and compassion. EcoBuddies is truly a representation of these lessons. While you will learn in the project summary that the path to completion of this project was not always straightforward, this experience has allowed me to grow in resilience and problem solving, gain valuable experience in program development and implementation, and ultimately explore my love for the outdoors and find confidence in my decision to pursue outdoor education as a career path.

I want to thank all of the wonderful staff at TreePeople who believed in my vision and supported me along the way and my teaching assistant, Tam Guy, and professor, Rebecca Crane, for the endless support, troubleshooting, and compassion over the past nine months.
